Imagine that you have a time machine. Which deceased musician would you most want to travel back in time to watch perform live?

Is, for me, the roundabout.
We come and go,
as if we go on it and take the next exit.

That's why i entered a contest. To make an art piece for a roundabout.

Wish me luck.

I know it's bad to ask, but some actually want to know what they should get me for christmas or newyear.
To make it easy:
http://www.artsupplies.co.uk/item-full-size-pastel-sets.htm the 24 assorted set, would go perfect with my pitt pens.
http://www.artsupplies.co.uk/item-cotman-travel-bag.htm i really need these for school.
And ofcourse sponsoring for london :3

I'm so saving up now x.x

Back again :3

Yep, back again. Online and active...
Well, sorta.

Past few weeks have included ups and downs.
Schoolwork wise, it's been a better year already! The first assignment was splendid, 'cause it included breaking styrofoam stuff for art sake!
And the second is creating a kitchen in a historic site context with a 'vroom' theme. Vroom not as the sound, but i don't have a clue what the english word is, because it's a very outdated word. It kinda means religious, but more the lifestyle of a nun then the actual believinginGod part.
It's gonna be interesting, that's for sure

Art wise, i've entered myself to make an artpiece for a new roundabout that's been built. Only downside is that the competition's actually for sculptural artists then for designers such as myself. But never fear, i'm picking up this challenge!

Friends and travel wise, I've finally visited some friends of mine. It's been so long and i really miss everyone. Some might read this journal, some may not, but i really would like to come over and visit. It's been too long and we've kinda grown apart. It's my fault though, due to the fact i've been piled with work. I'm really sorry.

Workwise, The temp job in the supermarket's gone, though now i work at a kitchenstore, drawing the plans for other people. I hope it works out. i can use the money for that london trip i'm planning :)

Never the less, i'm gonna be chipper and cheerful along the way.

You know, i've been giving a new ford fiesta and a new VW polo as replacement cars for the VW golf i trashed. Maybe i could do a personal review on both :)

The Fiesta was a new car, and not actually used well before i got it, even though it had 1200km on the counter. Which means: slow acceleration, shocky gearshifts, weak brakes... So when i said i have an underpowered car, i meant the car had to be broken in.
And when i had to give it back, the acceleration was fine, gearshifts were softer and the brakes finally did their job well.
The ride wasn't very comfortable though. Suspension was very stiff and every bump in the road could be felt. And the driving noise from the exterior wasn't pleasant either. And come on, close the doors and you hear a cheap metallic sound, the doors seem so hollow
But, it has to be said, ford does have a great audio system! And their new dynamic line concept is lovely for the interior as for the exterior. The seats were great and nicely formed and even filling up the car is a very futuristic thing to do. No more interiorbuttons that need pressing, but just a push of the lid, and it pops right open.

I'll give it 6,5/10
Ford made better cars then this.

As for the VW polo, which for the record is a diesel unlike the Fiesta which was petrol powered, i love it to bits. I do not know why, but VW has done it again!
Amazing to drive, excellent 'round corners, good acceleration even though it had less then 600km on it, great interior concept, slightly agressive exterior with a nice balance between sleek and abstract lines. Suspension's a bit stiff, but better then the Fiesta, so it smooths out the bumpy roads better, and believe me, i do know bumpy streets ;) Great brakes and awesome steering.
Too bad the gearstick's too small. It's reaaaaally tiny! And the detailing on the inside is slightly cheapishly done.
And aren't german cars normally built decently? This car has a problem with the backdoor on the driver's side. All the doors are open, but that one just won't budge. Shame though.

I'll give the VW a 7,5/10
A great compact, but VW, revamp your decent carbuilding abilities.

Yeah, i survived my first car accident today.
At 20:0-something, some stupid idiot with a Black Opel Zafira, 2007 model build *insta-hate activated* didn't follow the yellow roadwork lines and happily crashed into my car *read that as Wuffles' leasing car*, shunting me sideways and the shithead keeps on driving... Fucking tard!

Damage: Broken windshield due to crashing a work indicatorlight-thing, passengerside scrapped and dented, wingmirror kaput.

Oh right, highway police can suck sweaty monkeyballs. Those bastards apparently were too 'busy' to make a PV of the crash. Really guys, love the PR you're doing ;V

Now i'm driving around in an underpowered Ford Fiesta... Fizzbitch :<

Thank you Vosschemie!

Man, i'm feeling better by the week :-)

You might remember last year, where i mentioned that i have to design a stool that represents me.
Well, i had to quit that course due to the fact i had other courses that needed the time and attention.

Now, however, i do have the time and attention to make that stool :-) (which isn't a shit, but a piece of furniture :-/ )
and i vant to make it, vith compositematerials!
Still need to test which, but i'm quite looking forward to a duroplast with a core :)

Actually, depending on what the samples of Vosschemie will be (because, yes, that company actually is giving me stuff :-) ), i'll determine what i'll use for my stool (the furniture thing)

Adios, says the inventorcat

Keep on truckin'

Yeah,
I feel good about this: school's back, i'm awaiting a few calls, i'm a bit busy to see my other tiny problems...

Life is good :)

And you know what?
I did just that!

I informed myself for next years erasmus project.
The thing is, i want to study abroad for a semester, and London would be a lovely place.
Only downside, it's 3000€ for the stay there. And then i need food, fun, and everything else.
So i needed a job this year.
And yes, i did just that. I went out applying for a job in a supermarket and for a kitchendesigner.
I know, 2 very different jobs. But the upside is, if i get the job in the supermarket, i get paid more. If i get the kitchendesigner one, i get experience and money.
So eitherway, i'm good.

Also... )I'm me.

When i go online, i'm actually not wanting to be social, but i do tend to get lonely...
It's been a while since i've done something interesting.
Though, i did go to LaundryDay!
Yep, i wash there this year. Had a blast spazzing in the Dnb darkroom, at the mainstage, the stubru stage and the jim stage :3
And for those who don't know laundryday => www.laundryday.be

Also, this is a short movie of how it was :3 enjoy!

I blame Kittiah and Miyabi for this. Damn harddrive.
Enjoy it, every thursday night, from 8pm till midnight.

Yes, stupid stupid stupid!

Last week monday, when Wuffles was gone one day, i got bored and wanted to meet up with some friends.
So i toke mom's car and drove off to the pub where normally everyone huddles up and have a drink.
I drove back towards Wuffles his house to get my laptop and then home again.

Just the ordinairy mondayevening.
Or so i thought.

When i was passing by on a neighborhood road, i apparently accelerated to 70km/h because i was about to exit that neighborhood road.
I know this, because i got my first speeding ticket x.x

Man, 110 euro :( 4 months no allowance :(

I'm feeling...

Shitty and lonely at the moment...

I really miss Wuffles, and i'm not usually like this. Maybe because i don't have enough things to keep me busy...
Mom's out to work, my sis and her bf are at home, nobody wanted to go see a movie so i'm pretty much dead at home.

on a slightly positive note, I've lost 2 kgs this week

Oh boy...

Meet Sir Stephen Fry.

I mean, and most of you will agree, the guy is just so sweet!
And he's proven time and time again that he's just a nice guy in the real world.

The more i hear of him *like in LBP; the carpool show that DT recommended => http://www.llewtube.com/ ; even on top gear*
But what i like the most about him, he's so open about everything. Stephen got out his iPhone and showed Clarkson some apps, and one was a gaycruising app :) I giggled my balls off with that one. It's one of the few SIARPC bits i've completely watched.

Although... I'll mumble and be extremely shy when i meet him... if i do :s

And i return!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! I'm sure i did ;) We had mountainwalks, stressy discussions, general approval of stuff and most of all.
We had fun.

Right, better get my ass in gear to get to the carwash, because all those nasty roadkillbugs on the bumper won't go away by hand :( Though a good deal of grime did come off... It's more metallic gray then before!

Also, artwise, I should do some charcoalsketches for anatomy and possibly do a request that's 1.5 years old XD

Gone to Jupille for a weekend!

Planning stuff for a "molweekend"

Most of you guys don't know what it is, but basically, it's a teambuilding weekend based on the programconcept of "de mol" or the mole.
A series of challenges with a saboteur ;) others have to guess who the saboteur is, and at the end, there'll be one winner and a mole expected :D

It's fun.

Some *if not all* might know this: I PASSED EVERY COURSE THIS YEAR. YES, EVEN THE ONE I HAD TO REDO!
so i say: HA, IN YOUR FACE KARMA! Stop running over my dogma ffs ;)

And to celebrate this, i'm going on a decadent camping trip! With bbq, sushi, and comfy sleepingbagbeds.

Dudes, Love you all who supported me through this!

That's right.

In about 4 hours, i'll be sealing the faith i created, namely : FAIL this year again and getting kicked out of school.

I have no options to go through. Either i pass... and that's highly unlikely... Orrrrrr i fail.
With passing, there will be a jumbo-orgy in my brain, with simultanious release. A bukkake of happiness will wash over me and i'll be bouncing from here to there!

With failing it, however... I don't know what to do... Should i go to another school, and try from there? Should i get a job, and whatkindof?
I'm clueless about the future, and goddamnit, it's my own goddamn fault.

So, i'm gonna pray, and pray hard that i'll pass. I so hope that the gods are with me on this one. Please, please, please, pretty please *prettykittyeyes* Let me pass.

Please...
I mean it you shitbag
